An incredible night of worship

Monday night at Joy HOP (Joyful House of Prayer) we did a special soaking worship session with just Pastor Karl on the keyboard and me on my electric violin. We originally planned it as a recording session, but then we decided to do it live at Joy HOP, so others can participate in worship and intercession as we recorded the worship music. So Pieter brought his laptop and hooked up 4 channels to be recorded--my violin, Karl's keyboard, Karl's mic, and an open mic for the people present.
To prepare for the worship set, I did extra soaking on Monday for my spirit, and it really helped! The worship time, close to 2 hours, turned out to be one of the best worship times in my life. I was able to play with great freedom and abandonment on the violin, and it was totally enjoyable, fun, deep, and intense as well. Praise the Lord!
By the grace of God we were able to capture most of the "good stuff" onto the recording. I haven't heard all of it yet (since we are still in post-production), but from what I've heard already I am touched deeply in my spirit. I am just so thankful to the Lord for the privilege and the opportunity to record worship like this.
I'll write more once I get to listen to the whole cd.
