Reflections of God's faithfulness

One of the most memorable moments in my past 4 years of ministry is when I was in the Philippines 3 years ago and I got seriously sick out in the villages in the mountain wilderness.  Before that time I had never gotten sick on a mission trip, and hence I didn't bring with me any medicine at all!  I ended up having to hike out of the mountains in a super-weak state, praying all the way for strength from the Lord, and endure a 5 hour bus ride back to Tabuk, our home base, where I could rest and recover.
It took me 3 days for me, being mostly in bed, just praying and seeking God, before I could get up and function normally.  God's presence was so strong with me throughout that period of time.  His strength was made perfect in my weakness.
We had to cancel my remaining meetings and ministry schedule, but I was so glad to be just alive.  God saved me and rescued me, physically!  Oh Lord, I will praise you as long as I live!
