Abby is fine!

Abby has been found.  Read the brief report below.  For more updates from her team and family, check her website.

We have just heard from the Australian Search and Rescue. The plane arrived on the scene moments ago. Wild Eyes is upright but her rigging is down. The weather conditions are abating. Radio communication was made and Abby reports that she is fine!
We don't know much else right now. The French fishing vessel that was diverted to her location will be there in a little over 24 hours. Where they will take her or how long it will take we don't know.
More updates as news comes in.

Pray for Abby Sunderland!

I have been following the progress of Abby, a 16-year old sailor who is seeking to sail around the world by herself.  She is reportedly lost at sea (in the middle of the Indian Ocean) right now.  Please pray for her, that she is safe and out of harm's way right now.  Pray that she will not die at sea but live!  Read the news reports below.

Another courageous girl sailing around the world, Abby Sunderland

I just discovered another 16 year old girl, similar to Jessica Watson, who is on a journey of sailing solo nonstop around the world right now.  Her name is Abby Sunderland from Southern California.  I admire Abby's courage and determination, and I pray that she will make it home safely and smoothly in due time.  Check out her website and travel updates by clicking on her name above, and watch this cool video below.  I thank God that her family is Christian and they have strong faith!
