Great Ray Hughes conference
I just came back from attending a mini-conference with Ray Hughes, who is one of the best (and funniest) worship teacher I've ever heard. (I listened to 16 tapes by him about worship while at
MorningStar) This was actually the first time I got to hear him live in person, and the Holy Spirit really moved on his messages. There was so much great insights, revelations, (even scientific knowledge) teachings, prophetic declarations, impartation and encouragements,
that all of us were really blessed, encouraged, and have a bigger view of God and His majesty and glory, and drawn closer to Him in intimacy.
I have rarely come out of meetings so filled up and ministered to, and so excited about God, and looking forward to all that He will do, then what happened these past couple nights. God blesses Ray Hughes's ministry, how he ministered to us in his speaking and wisdom affected all of us in a profound way. You can check out his worship school website at www.selahministries.com
The worship at this last session was amazing. It was another joint worship team (two teams merging together) and we had a bunch of people on hand drums, 2 keyboardist, 3 electric guitar, a huge gong, 4 shofar players, another guy on traditional flute, and this one guy who played the digeridoo (from Australia) and a seashell. We had no planned song list and the entire worship was spontaneous and led by the Holy Spirit. At one point I could count about 20 people playing instruments in the worship (including drums and percussion), not to mention the dancers and the flag people. There was this little boy who was banging these 2 Sprite plastic bottles
together in worship, so cool! We didn't have a large crowd but it seems like everybody was totally engaged with the Lord in the worship. I was hearing and experiencing sounds in worship that I have never heard before. It felt like the sounds of heaven, and the sounds of creation, when God first created the world.
I felt so blessed to be present and to be a part of this symphony of worship. God is doing a new thing here in the Northwest!

New Violin Case for Christmas!
A couple weeks before Christmas, one of my friends here in Seattle offered to purchase a new violin case for me online and ship it to my house, as a present. I was totally surprised by this generous gift, and sure enough, right after I got home from LA on night of the 25th, I found the box of this case in my room! (it had shipped in while I was gone) I opened the box and beheld the case, and it was really high quality, both in design and in features. It has a hydrometer, accessories storages, and suspension protection for my violin. Praise the Lord for this wonderful case!
I remember having a nice, expensive case back in South Carolina. But it was old and I didn't have the room to bring it in my car to come to Seattle, so I sold it cheaply to a good musician friend. Now, it is amazing to see God giving me another high-end case for free! Father God knows how to care for His children, and He is so good to me!

Merry, Merry Christmas!
Today is the celebration of Christmas in 2007. Pray that you are enjoying warm fellowship with family and friends. Blessings to you in Christ.
Last night my parent's church had a Christmas Eve service/party. A salvation message was given, and about 10 people accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Praise God! Let the harvest of souls continue here in LA.
