Last night at my young adults group, Living for More, we watched the video of this powerful, moving talk by Louie Giglio, The Anchor of Hope.  I heard Louie speak while I was in college (He ministers specifically to college students through Passion conferences), and his messages are always Christ-centered and relevant to real life.  It was good to hear Louie again and be draw closer to Jesus.

Heidi Baker & the Riveras!

Yesterday I got to watch a TACF DVD where Alberto and Kimberly Rivera led worship and Heidi spoke.  It was one of the best meeting I've seen in my life as the overall ministry--the worship and the preaching of the Word were both extremely powerful and anointed, with the people responding to the Lord in massive numbers at the end.  I thank God I had the opportunity to view this DVD.

Expelled: a great movie

A couple weeks ago I saw the film Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed at my church's young adults group.  Starring the spectacular Ben Stein, Expelled was one of the best movie I've seen this year!  I give it two thumbs up, way up!  As it turns out, in America, Expelled has become the #1 documentary of 2008.

If you haven't seen it yet, rent it on DVD and watch it with friends!  You can invite atheist friends to view it too, and have a constructive discussion afterwards.  Better yet, buy the DVD for yourself, and buy a bunch more to give away as Christmas presents!
