in Baguio, Philippines

Dear friends,
Thanks for all your prayers this past week! I am in good health, and the seminar meetings in Bantay and Tabuk went well. They were quite different than what we had expected, but it was a powerful time in the Lord. This is a new season and God is not doing things in the same
ways as before, and there was a much deeper focus on intimacy on this trip, praise God!

There is much that I can write to you, but I'll seek to do that after I get back to the States and write up my full report. The Bantay sessions were extremely impactful, as the local people said it was the message from the Lord for their church. Of course, I had no idea coming in, I just shared and spoke what I sensed the Holy Spirit leading me to speak. Glory to God!
There were also some great lessons learned, for myself and our team, during my time in Tabuk. After a final youth meeting Sunday afternoon, Rod and I departed for Baguio by bus, to visit our friends here. It was another long trip. This time, no AC (so cheaper fares) but 11 hours total travel time (including breaks in the middle for meals). We arrived safely in Baguio yesterday evening, and, in a way, it is nice to be in a big city again! I am at my friend David's house
and using his internet here. It was also good for me to take a week off from the internet, just to focus on the Lord's work here, and on the relationships I have cultivated with my friends here. It was good just to sit down, eat, and listen to what's going on in their lives here in this country, and what God is doing. And I also was able to share with them what God is doing in my life, and in the Seattle area.

Some of the highlighs of the Tabuk time was me being able to speak some new messages, on the voice of the Lord, on friendship with God, on the heart cry of worship, and soaking prayer! God really moved in the soaking prayer session that we had, and they are planning to start regular soaking meetings now! Praise the Lord!

In a couple day I will be flying to Singapore for the final leg of my trip. Please keep me in prayer as we head back down to Manila soon, and fly out. Pray that the Lord will finish my Philippines segment strong and have it carry over to Singapore, and for God's will to be done in my short stay over there. Thanks so much again for praying for me.
