in Philippines!

I got here safe and sound last night. Manila is nice and cool at just past midnight. It was good to meet up with my good friend Rod again, and we are both looking forward to all that God has for us in this next 2 weeks!
We are planning to go to a Heidi Baker event this afternoon (yes, we found out that Heidi Baker is here in the Philippines! 2 days only), so that should be exciting. And at 9 pm, we will aboard the bus for the "red-eye" ride to Tabuk, Kalinga. It's about a 10 hour drive, so hopefully I can get some good sleep on the bus!
I am trying to keep my postings short while I'm here in the Philippines. As I am at a internet cafe and the longer I write, the more I pay! Some interesting things has happen already, but I think I'll share most of the good stuff in my mission report after the trip. But I will seek to post short update blurbs here, on and off, to give you a glimpse of what's happening here. Thanks for all your prayers for me, and please continue to keep me in your regular prayers for the next couple weeks. Breakthough is coming to the Philippines!
