Director of Planned Parenthood in Texas resigns after watching abortion ultrasound

BRYAN, Texas, November 2, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The director of the Texas Planned Parenthood abortion mill where the 40 Days for Life campaign began has resigned, saying she experienced a conversion after watching an ultrasound video of a child being killed by abortion.

"I just thought I can't do this anymore, and it was just like a flash that hit me and I thought that's it," said Abby Johnson in an interview with local news network KBTX 3.

Johnson had been affiliated with Bryan's Planned Parenthood facility for eight years, and worked as its director for two.  She said she began to feel uncomfortable with Planned Parenthood's business philosophy after the organization, suffering from the economic downturn, told her to try to bring more abortions in the door.  "The money wasn't in family planning, the money wasn't in prevention, the money was in abortion and so I had a problem with that," said Johnson.

But the turning point for Johnson was reportedly when she witnessed an actual ultrasound image of an abortion being performed on an unborn child.

LIFE prayer siege 10/25/08

I led a team of young people from the Lynnwood area (the Bound4Life prayer warriors) to pray in front of Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in the U District in Seattle, WA. We joined the 24/7 prayer chain of Seattle 40 Days for Life outside of Planned Parenthood, and had a powerful, moving time of prayer and worship. God end abortion in America!

Jaeson Ma speaks about "Bella" in Hong Kong

A word from Jaeson Ma:
"Bella is coming to Hong Kong. This is a major answer to prayer as Hong Kong sadly is the number one industrialized city in the world for abortions. Nearly 1 out of every 3 babies are aborted in this city. This is an atrocity. We are repenting, praying and promoting Bella in Hong Kong with it's premiere Nov 11, 2008. If you are in Hong Kong I urge you to mobilize every student, on every campus, in every church, in every community to get family and friends to watch this beautiful award winning and life changing film. It will not only inspire you to love, but this movie will literally save destinies."

268 babies saved!

268 lives have been saved from abortion (confirmed) in front of abortion clinics, at the midway point of 40 Days for Life, a national pro-life campaign going on right now!  Praise the Lord!

When I saw the number 268, Isaiah 26:8 immediately comes to mind.  Here is the Scripture,
Yes, LORD, walking in the way of your laws,
       we wait for you;
       your name and renown
       are the desire of our hearts.
