wonderful { snowy } iceland

I have been here in Iceland for 2 weeks now, leading worship on my electric violin (and playing guitar and singing as well) in various churches and ministries.  It has been a great time.  I have also been enjoying the snowy weather and condition during this time of the year here.  I will only have 2 more days before flying back to Seattle.  Not sure when I would be able to come back in the future, but I would definitely want to come back in the summer sometimes to explore more of the spectacular scenery and wilderness of Iceland.

Check out the video below (which I filmed with my iPod Touch) of a beautiful winter drive near the mountains.

Snowed last weekend in Seattle

This past weekend around here it snowed on and off for 3 days--Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I had to clear a layer of fresh powder from the top of my car when I drove home from the House of Prayer Friday night. According to records it was the latest dates (into Spring) that had snowfall in Seattle's history. We believe that this is a sign from the Lord telling us to get ready. It's a new and unexpected season now in the history of the Northwest, and God is about to do something great. Watch Him!
